We had gotten used to hearing the above phrase and felt that people around us had ideas and intention to take up social initiatives but weren’t doing anything meaningful. To address this need we decided to provide a support system, which would enable others to translate their intentions and ideas into positive results and high impact on the ground. This is how Shri Ananta Charitable Trust came into being. 

Shri Ananta Charitable Trust is a non-profit organization founded in 2013, with the goal to provide friends, family and others with a platform to take-up social interventions that have been well thought-out and empirically tested. We intend to encourage a shift from initiatives that provide pure financial assistance to initiatives that take a long-term, hands-on, holistic approach to tackle social issues.
