[Anan-ta] Sanskrit
(n) Infinity, without end, limitless

‘I want to make a difference to society’

We had gotten used to hearing the above phrase and felt that people around us had ideas and intention to take up social initiatives but weren’t doing anything meaningful. To address this need we decided to provide a support system, which would enable others to translate their intentions and ideas into positive results and high impact on the ground. This is how Shri Ananta Charitable Trust came into being.

Shri Ananta Charitable Trust is a non-profit organization founded in 2013, with the goal to provide friends, family and others with a platform to take-up social interventions that have been well thought-out and empirically tested. We intend to encourage a shift from initiatives that provide pure financial assistance to initiatives that take a long-term, hands-on, holistic approach to tackle social issues.

IMPATIENCE towards our goals

We push ourselves everyday to stay action oriented and decisive, and work impatiently to reach our goals.

Our leadership team and program teams constitute of a diverse group of folks that share a common goal to perform high quality work in the social sector while having fun. They are a great reminder of our need to give back to society.
